Russians allegedly shot three Ukrainian prisoners of war near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region

Robotyne, Ukraine (Svidomi) — Ukrainian prosecutors are launching an investigation into the alleged shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russians near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially temporarily occupied since 2022.
On February 20, a video was posted on the Internet showing three Russian soldiers shooting three captured Ukrainian defenders.
"The killing of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and is classified as a serious international crime. The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the SSU Office in the Zaporizhzhia region," the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said in a statement.
It will be recalled that Russians allegedly shot six captured Ukrainian soldiers at the Zenit position in Avdiivka. The bodies of the three were identified by their relatives.
