Russian troops conduct 50 attacks in the Donetsk sector daily — Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi informed the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley

Zaluzhnyi said that fierce fighting continues near Vuhledar and Mariinka. 

"We are holding the defence reliably. Moreover, in some areas of the frontline, we managed to regain previously lost positions and gain a foothold there," said General Zaluzhnyi.

Also, despite the constant pressure from the Russian army, the Ukrainian military continues to keep Bakhmut under control and is taking measures to stabilise the front line around the city.
