Russian shelling as of 12:45 on September 8
Donetsk region: Russians shelled Avdiivka, Ocheretyne, Kostiantynivka, Siversk, as well as the Komar, Vuhledar, Novohrodivka, Mariinka, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Soledar, and Lyman communities. Six people were wounded. Residential and industrial buildings were damaged.
Kharkiv region: The Russian army shelled Petropavlivka in the Kupiansk district. A 68-year-old man was wounded and hospitalised. In Kucherivka, a residential building was damaged by shelling. Other settlements in the Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, and Chuhuiv districts also came under fire.
Sumy region: The Russian military shelled the Sumy and Seredyna-Buda communities three times. 14 explosions were recorded.
Mykolaiv region: The Russian army shelled the Kutsurub community and the waters of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.
Kherson region: Over the past day, Russians conducted 62 attacks, firing 281 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad, UAVs, AGS, ATGMs, and aircraft. Russians fired seven shells at Kherson. As a result of the attacks in the Kherson region, one person was killed, and two were wounded.
Dnipro region: Russians shelled the Nikopol district. A 52-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds in the Marhanets community. Eight residential buildings, five outbuildings, a car, and two power lines were damaged. The Pokrovske community and Nikopol also came under fire. The aftermath of the attack is being assessed.
Zaporizhzhia region: Russians shelled 29 towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia region 93 times. Shyroke, Trudove, Chervone, Komyshuvakha, Novodarivka, Huliaipole, Piatykhatky, and other towns and villages came under fire. A 54-year-old woman was killed by a rocket attack on Prymorske. Residential buildings, outbuildings, and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
