Russian missile strike destroys Museum of Interesting Science in Odesa


The building burned down, and some of the exhibits were destroyed — Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi. 

It happened on the night of May 14, when the Russian army fired four Kalibr missiles at Odesa. The strike damaged two educational institutions and destroyed the Museum of Interesting Science.

The Minor Academy of Sciences helped to transport the surviving part of the exhibition to other cities.

Oksen Lisovyi also recalled that Russians had previously destroyed a similar museum in Mariupol. He announced plans to create a network of such institutions, as well as a mobile museum of interesting science.
