Russian medical facilities postpone scheduled operations indefinitely due to a shortage of medicine

The Main Directorate of Intelligence reported this.

According to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, all regions of the country were obliged to create an emergency stockpile of medicines for 4 months.

According to the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, the appearance of such an order may be related to the impact of international sanctions on the economy, the threat of a complete stoppage of the supply of medicines from abroad, or an increase in the intensity of hostilities and an increase in the health costs of Russians.

In private conversations, Russian surgeons admit that the state is not replenishing the stock of medicines, which has dramatically decreased. As a result of the shortage, there was an increase in the prices of medicines. Doctors plan to perform surgeries only on those patients who need urgent surgical intervention.
