Russia smuggled Ukrainian grain worth at least $530 million

This is stated in an investigation by The Associated Press.

With the help of satellite images and marine radio transponder data, it was established that 30 ships made more than 50 voyages, transporting Ukrainian grain to the ports of Türkiye, Syria, Lebanon, and other countries.

In particular, the Russians stole grain in Melitopol and loaded it in the ports of Kefe (Feodosiia) and Aqyar (Sevastopol). Videos from social networks from September show a steady stream of Russian grain trucks moving to the south of Ukraine through the occupied territories.

According to the forged documentation, agricultural products were allegedly shipped in the port of Kavkaz, even though the hulls of several ships that transported grain exaggerated the amounts that the port can accept.
