Russia committed 477 crimes against Ukrainian media during the full-scale invasion

Russians killed 43 journalists, eight of them while performing an editorial task. They abducted 21 journalists, and 14 are missing. Seventeen journalists were injured, and sixty-seven people were intimidated.

The Russians also committed 16 attacks on TV towers, 25 shutdowns of Ukrainian broadcasting, 42 cybercrimes and nine website blockings.

"In addition, since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, at least 208 broadcasters and print media have ceased all or part of their activities in several regions due to the fighting and occupation," the Institute of Mass Information reports.
