Protesters on the Polish-Ukrainian border continue to block six truck crossing points

Polish-Ukrainian border (Svidomi) — All six truck crossings on the border between Poland and Ukraine are blocked. The blockade by Polish farmers continues, according to the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andrii Demchenko.
"The blockade of traffic for trucks continues by Polish farmers. These are six directions. As of this morning, more than 2,400 trucks are waiting in queues in all these directions in Poland to get to Ukraine," spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service says.
The longest queue of trucks has formed near the Krakovets and Yagodyn checkpoints. Over the past 24 hours, 70 vehicles have crossed through Yagodyn in the direction of Ukraine.
"Yagodyn is the largest infrastructure area where 1,200-1,400 trucks can cross the border in both directions. Instead, only trucks travelling to Ukraine are allowed to cross. No truck crosses the border towards Poland because they are not allowed to do so," adds Andrii Demchenko.
The SBGS spokesperson adds that the Poles do allow humanitarian cargo to cross.
Mass farmers' protests are ongoing across Poland. The farmers are protesting against the cancellation of duties on Ukrainian agricultural products, as the influx of Ukrainian products harms the Polish market. It will be recalled that Ukrainian grain is transiting through Poland to other countries.
It will be recalled that on March 1, Polish protesters partially blocked the Kalvarija — Budzisko border crossing on the border with Lithuania. Farmers are checking trucks because of information that Ukrainian grain is allegedly being returned to Poland as Lithuanian grain.
Lithuania denies this information.
"We have not received such complaints and have not recorded such facts. When we talked to the Customs Department and had a meeting today, they had very clear algorithms to see in which cases there may be certain illegal actions. This was not the case here either," said Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania.
