Prigozhin: Lukashenko proposed a solution for PMCs to work in "legal jurisdiction"

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has allegedly proposed a way to resolve the conflict between the Wagner PMC and the Russian Ministry of Defence, which provides for the militants' work in a "legal jurisdiction."

This is evidenced by an audio recording published by Prigozhin's press service.

On June 26, after two days of silence, Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on the agreement he had reached with the Belarusian dictator. However, it is not clear what he called "legal jurisdiction." There is only one private military company in Belarus whose work is directly authorised by Lukashenka.

This was preceded by statements by Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov that Prigozhin would allegedly go to Belarus.

The head of the Wagner private military company also said that several security forces officers were allegedly wounded during the mutiny. Two participants in the mutiny were killed — those were Russian soldiers who had joined the rebellion.
