President Zelenskyy met with the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Sudan on an unscheduled basis

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had an unscheduled meeting with the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of the Republic of Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
Zelenskyy wrote about it on his Facebook page.
They discussed common security challenges: the activities of illegal armed groups funded by Russia.
Zelenskyy also thanked Burhan for Sudan's support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and invited him to support the Grain from Ukraine initiative and take part in this year's summit.
Earlier, Svidomi spoke about the work of the Wagner PMC in Africa, particularly in Sudan, and its importance for Ukraine.
