Poland detains Russian hockey player on suspicion of spying

On June 11, Poland's Internal Security Service detained a Russian citizen who was taking pictures of Polish infrastructure for Russian intelligence. He resided in Poland as an athlete.
This was reported by the Internal Security Service on June 30.
The detainee was a member of a top Polish league hockey club. He is currently in a pre-trial detention centre.
He is the fourteenth detained member of the Russian spy network. He photographed Polish critical infrastructure, including railways, Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Wąsik said in a commentary to public broadcasting.
