On the night of June 1, Russians fired 10 missiles from the Iskander operational and tactical complex at the Kyiv region and the capital, all of which were shot down by the Air Defence Forces.

The falling debris caused significant damage, killing at least 3 people and injuring 12.

The General Staff reports repelling the missile attack.

This is the second time in a week that the Russian military has used the Iskander system against the Ukrainian capital. This time, just like on May 29, the Ukrainian Air Defence Forces managed to repel it.

However, its wreckage fell on a children's hospital in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. Three people were killed, including one child. Another 10 people were injured. A nearby school and kindergarten were also damaged.

Debris also damaged residential buildings in the Dniprovskyi district. Two people were injured.

In the Darnytsia district, the blast wave also damaged residential buildings and a hot water pipeline.
