Next week, the government of the Czech Republic, which currently holds the EU presidency, will propose to suspend the visa facilitation agreements with Russia and Belarus

This will not prevent Russians and Belarusians from applying for short-term entry but will increase the time it takes to process visas, require more documents, and increase costs from 35 to 80 euros.
