Members of the European Parliament urge President Duda to take action to stop the ongoing blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Lithuanian MEP Andrius Kubilius and 18 other MEPs have called on the Polish president and EU leaders to "act decisively" to end the blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Kubilius published a joint statement in his X.

The statement was signed, among others, by Nathalie Loiseau from France, Viola von Cramon-Taubadel from Germany, Heidi Hautala from Finland and others.

"EU solidarity with Ukraine fighting the war to defend our values is at stake," Andrius Kubilius wrote.

It will be recalled that the European Commission opposes the return of the so-called "transport permits" for Ukrainian drivers, as demanded by Polish protesters blocking the Ukrainian-Polish border.

In addition, on December 5, the ambassadors of the Baltic states in Warsaw announced a demarche against Poland because of the blockade.
