NATO is not discussing the use of Article 5 over the incident with the Belarusian helicopters.
This was stated by the US State Department spokesman during a briefing.
"There is a process that is in place for NATO countries to invoke Article 5. We are not at that stage at this point," Miller said.
The spokesman added that NATO continues to study the situation.
On August 1, two Belarusian helicopters violated Polish airspace.
