Hungarian government removes video showing an incorrect Ukrainian map

On May 30, the Hungarian government's YouTube channel released a video showing a map of Ukraine without the temporarily occupied Crimea. On the morning of June 4, it was removed, and another video was uploaded with the correct map of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the government's YouTube channel.

In response to the publication of the original video, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on Hungary to stop provocations and to comply with its international obligations as a member of the UN, EU, and NATO.

On behalf of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine's Charge d'Affaires in Hungary made an official demarche to the Hungarian side.

As a result of the pressure, the Hungarians removed the video. Instead, a new video was published, showing the map of Ukraine correctly. At the same time, the channel's archived copy shows that the previous one had not yet been removed as of the evening of June 3. It was viewed by at least 100,000 users.
