Great Britain and Japan agreed to strengthen support for Ukraine — the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

During a telephone conversation, the Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and Japan agreed to promote the international community's unity on the war in Ukraine and strengthen sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine. 

The countries also intend to sign a military agreement to deter China, particularly by strengthening cooperation between Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States in the Indo-Pacific region.
