Germany announces a large package of military aid to Ukraine: ammunition for Leopard 2 A6 tanks, 155 mm shells

Berlin, Germany (Svidomi) — The German government has updated the military aid list it sent to Ukraine. The new package includes, among other things, ammunition for Leopard 2 A6 tanks and 155 mm shells, which are in short supply in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the list, the package includes:

  • 5 Warthog tracked repair and recovery vehicles;
  • 9 Warthog all-terrain tracked command vehicles;
  • 6 WISENT 1 demining vehicles;
  • 2 BEAVER bridge-laying tanks;
  • Bergepanzer 2 and 2A1 Dachs engineering armoured recovery vehicles;
  • 9 mine clearing systems;

3 vehicles for border protection;

  • 6 Mercedes-Benz Zetros fuel tankers;
  • 14 Vector reconnaissance UAVs;
  • 30 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance UAVs;
  • 5 drone jammers;
  • ammunition for Leopard 2A6 tanks;
  • 18,000 rounds of 155 mm ammunition.

It also includes a SATCOM surveillance system, 330 infrared cameras, 2,056 RGW90 Matador grenade launchers and 70 GMG grenade launchers.
