On September 21, ammunition manufacturing machines from the German company Spinner are due to arrive at the Serov Mechanical Plant in Russia. To circumvent the sanctions, the machines were shipped through Türkiye.
This was reported by journalists of the Trap Aggressor investigative project.
"The Russian plant ordered a machine tool of the U5-630 model, which is used for high-precision processing of parts with complicated profiles, in particular parts of tank shells used in the war against the Ukrainians," the statement says.
According to Trap Aggressor, the machines are being delivered through Türkiye.
This information was confirmed by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
It will be recalled that despite the sanctions, Russian airlines were able to purchase spare parts worth at least $1.2 billion.
