Forest in Kyiv region caught fire due to Russian missile attack

The forest is on fire in the Bucha district. Russian units were previously stationed there - the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv region, Andrii Niebytov.

In the morning of June 16, Russians launched rocket attacks on Kyiv. This happened when a delegation from 6 African countries visited the capital. They also visited Bucha, the site of the massacre of Ukrainian civilians by Russians.

All the missiles were downed, but their fragments caused fires in the Kyiv region. In particular, a forest in the Bucha district caught fire.

There used to be Russian troop positions there. There was ammunition left behind, which began to detonate due to the fire.

Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the detonation. Meanwhile, police are blocking entrances to the forest to protect the local population.
