Flooded area in the Kherson region has almost halved

On June 10, the average level of flooding in the Kherson region decreased by 27 cm. As of 22:00, the flood level is 4.45 metres. The flooded area has almost halved - Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The water has receded from Mykolaiivka, Lvove and Olhivka in the Beryslav district.

Still, 32 settlements on the right bank of the Kherson region remain flooded. 3,784 houses are under water.

"The situation on the temporarily occupied left bank remains crucial. 14 settlements are flooded there. The occupation authorities do not carry out evacuation measures," said the head of the RMA.
