Fighting in southern Israel continues in six locations
Fighting between the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas militants continues in six locations.
The Times of Israel reports this, citing the IDF spokesman, Daniel Hagari.
In particular, fighting is ongoing in Be’er, Kfar Aza, Nirim and Alumim.
According to the spokesman, 425 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip and hundreds more in Israel.
The Israel Defense Forces also say it had struck targets in the Gaza Strip. Over 500 targets have been reported, including eight militant military rooms, several high-rise towers and a mosque that houses Hamas assets, and three tunnels in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza.
The death toll of Israelis increased to 700 people, including 73 soldiers.
Ukrainian diplomats took a Ukrainian boy who was injured during the attack by Hamas militants out of the city of Sderot. They also tracked down five citizens who were considered missing in the south of Israel.
Diplomats are currently checking information about the possible deaths of two other Ukrainians near the Gaza Strip and one in the Strip.
In total, the operative headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine processed more than 200 appeals from citizens over the past day. Currently, Ukrainians receive assistance in getting to Ukraine, as flights are being canceled en masse.
