FBI investigates threats to Colorado Supreme Court justices who banned Trump from primary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, together with Colorado law enforcement, is investigating threats against the justices of the state's Supreme Court.
Earlier, the court banned former President Trump from participating in the 2024 primaries.
CNN reports with reference to FBI spokeswoman Vikki Migoya.
"We will vigorously pursue investigations of any threat or use of violence committed by someone who uses extremist views to justify their actions regardless of motivation," the FBI spokesperson said.
State and local law enforcement agencies, as well as non-governmental research groups, have been analysing rhetoric on extremist online forums to identify potential threats to public officials.
The names of the four Colorado Supreme Court justices who voted to disqualify Trump appeared in posts calling for their personal data to be disclosed.
The analysis did not identify any specific threats to the justices, but the researchers noted the possible "risk of individual or small group violence and other illegal actions in response to the decision" to disqualify Trump.
Іt will be recalled that the Colorado Supreme Court has banned Donald Trump from participating in the state's primaries (elections) in March 2024. The court's decision prohibits Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold from "including President Trump's name on the 2024 presidential primary ballot or counting votes cast for him".
