Due to the full-scale war in Ukraine, Polish citizens' interest in military service has increased

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak announced that in 2022, the Polish Armed Forces were able to recruit 13,742 new soldiers, a record number since the abolition of conscription in 2008.
He also reported that the Polish Armed Forces will have 164,000 soldiers in early 2023, including 36,000 members of volunteer territorial defense units.
