Damages from the death of wildlife due to the destruction of the hydroelectric power station reach UAH 900 million

The destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station could have led to the deaths of various animals, including birds. The damage caused to Ukraine is estimated at UAH 883 million.
This was announced by Ruslan Strilets, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
The destruction of the Kakhovka dam may result in the death of various wildlife: horses, fallow deer, deer, wild boars, roe deer, muskrats, foxes.
Even birds are under threat.
The State Ecological Inspectorate continues to calculate possible losses.
