Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhnyi: Our victory is definitely the liberation of the entire occupied territory

However, de-occupation alone is not enough to win, as Ukraine needs the means to defend itself in the future - an interview with Dmytro Komarov. 

"We must build a military institution that will never allow the Russians to repeat everything. That is, victory for us means liberated territories and a powerful, ultra-modern and, perhaps, even great Armed Forces of Ukraine," said Valerii Zaluzhnyi. 

All successes of the Ukrainian army at the front are achieved thanks to the heroism of Ukrainians. "Everything rests on the shoulders of ordinary people," said the Commander-in-Chief. 

He acknowledges that the Ukrainian army has lost many career soldiers. "The war is started by career soldiers and finished by teachers, engineers, and accountants. This is what is happening now," Zaluzhnyi added.
