Bulgaria closes the border for cars with Russian licence plates
The Bulgarian government has decided to ban cars with Russian licence plates from entering the country.
This was reported by the Bulgarian Border Police Chief, Anton Zlatanov, Tribune reports.
Zlatanov added that such a ban on trucks has been in place for several months.
"We have been working very actively from Thursday to yesterday. I am confident that by the end of the day, a ban on the entry of Russian cars will take effect in Bulgaria, and the ban on trucks has been in place for several months," the Border Police director said.
It will be recalled that Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Norway announced a ban on Russian cars.
