Australia has expanded sanctions against Russia - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country

Australia has imposed financial sanctions and a travel ban on 28 Russian governors, ministers and senior officials in response to the so-called "annexation" of the temporarily occupied Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions to Russia. 

Australia has also applied to join Ukraine's case against Russia in the International Court of Justice on genocide.
