A strike on a five-story building in Kharkiv region left civilians trapped in the rubble
On the night of November 4, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, guided bombs in the Kharkiv region, 80 Shahed attack UAVs, and unidentified drones. The Air Defense Forces reported downing 50 UAVs in the Kyiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kirovohrad regions.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Russia attacked Kharkiv, Mala Danilivka, Kivsharivka, Pytomnyk, Zrubanka, Kovali, Muravske, and Odnorobivka. Damage was done to the glazing of the windows of an infrastructure facility, four trade pavilions, two supermarkets, three houses, a laboratory, a coffee shop, 21 trade kiosks, a shopping center, a café, 20 residential buildings, ten cars, and a railway crossing. Fifteen people were injured, including four police officers. At least three civilians were trapped under the rubble of a five-story building in Kivsharivka as a result of the strike.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region in south-central Ukraine, the Russian army attacked the Dnipro district, Nikopol, the communities of Marhanets and Pokrovske. Infrastructure, the administrative building of a sanatorium, ten houses, three outbuildings, three greenhouses, and power lines were damaged. Fires broke out as private buildings burned. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russian troops attacked Bilohiria, Lobkove, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Bilohiria, Olhivske, Prymorske, Yurkivka, and Preobrazhenka. Twenty-three residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. In total, Russia launched 304 strikes in the region over the day.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Shevchenko, and Mykolaivka. Five residential buildings and three cars were damaged. Two civilians were wounded. Over the day, 2,880 attacks were registered in the region.
In the Kyiv region, a grass flooring caught fire in one of the districts as a result of the fall of downed drones. According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. In the Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi districts of Kyiv, where the wreckage of downed drones fell, fires broke out in a public park and on the waterfront.
In the Luhansk region, almost entirely occupied by Russia, the Russians struck Serebrianskyi forest, Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, and Balka Zhuravka. Russia used aviation, multiple-launch rocket systems, cannon artillery, and UAVs to conduct the attacks.
In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, Russia attacked the Kutsurub community four times in one day with FPV drones. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians shelled the communities of Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Chupakhivka, Putyvl, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, and Svesa. Twelve garages, five private households, and an administrative building were damaged. Dry grass caught fire.
In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Dudchany, Bilozerka, Chornobaivka, Tomaryne, Shliakhove, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Beryslav, Zarichne, and Lvove. Educational and medical institutions, a public transport stop, three high-rise buildings and 19 private houses, a gas pipeline, and private cars were damaged.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired at Mkhy, Karpovychi, Lohy, Leonivka, Halahanivka, Khotiivka, Semenivka, and Khrinivka. The Russian army used mortars, cannon artillery, and FPV drones.
