A Russian sabotage group blew up Kakhovka HPP

The Security Service of Ukraine intercepted a conversation between the Russians, indicating that they allegedly did not plan to blow up the plant but only wanted to intimidate with the dam blowing up.

"This is our [Russian - ed.] sabotage group. They wanted to intimidate with the dam blowing up. This didn't go as planned. More things happened than planned," the Russian soldier says.

The soldier mentioned the park where thousands of animals died. One of the main problems, they say, is that the HPP cools the reactor at the nuclear power plant.

The Russians also mention that Russia deliberately hides the explosion's consequences.
