A room where teenagers were tortured was found in the Kherson region — the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets.

According to local residents, teenagers aged about 14 years were kept there. 

The Ombudsman writes that residents of this region were subjected to more severe torture than in other previously de-occupied areas. Also, in the Kherson region, for the first time, torture chambers were noticed, where women and men were kept together around the clock.

"Torture, beatings, sexual violence, but men and women had not been kept together before. Moreover, they were not let out for weeks. Even women had to go to the toilet in front of men, and men - in front of women", — the Ombudsman writes.
