A group affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers' Party claims responsibility for a terrorist attack in Ankara

A group affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers' Party has claimed responsibility for a terrorist attack in Ankara near the Interior Ministry building.

The Kurdish media outlet ANF News reports this, citing a statement by the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

The attack was carried out by the "Brigade of Immortals" group.

The group stated that the attack was a response to Türkiye's policy towards the Kurds.

The action was specifically planned for the opening of the parliament, which returned to work after the summer break.

It will be recalled that on October 1, explosions occurred in the Turkish capital Ankara near the Interior Ministry building: two terrorists carried out a terrorist attack.
