A terrorist attack occurred near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building in Türkiye

On October 1, explosions occurred near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building in Ankara, Türkiye, as two terrorists attempted to commit a terrorist attack.

Anadolu Agency and CNN Türk reported this.

According to the Interior Ministry, two terrorists drove up to the building in a car, one of whom blew himself up and the other was neutralised by security forces.

Two policemen were injured in the fire that followed the explosion.

The Turkish Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security have already launched an investigation.
