Czech Republic plans to train Ukrainian pilots on Gripen fighter jets on its territory

The Czech Republic is in talks with Sweden to train Ukrainian pilots on Gripen fighter jets on its territory.
Czech Defence Minister Jana Černochová made the announcement during a public discussion in Prague, Radio Prague International reports.
The Czech Ministry of Defence has submitted a new draft order to the government on training Ukrainian military.
The Czech Republic has already trained 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers at the Libava training ground. The country plans to train a total of 4,000 by the end of the year.
Černochová also promises to continue providing defence assistance to Ukraine. She emphasises that the weapons transferred to Ukraine were not from the mobilisation stocks of the Czech Armed Forces.
It will be recalled that on September 19, the Czech Republic agreed to supply Ukraine with Czech weapons with financial support from Denmark and the Netherlands during a meeting in the Ramstein format.
