17,000 Russian soldiers killed and 30,000 wounded in Avdiivka
Ukraine (Svidomi) — Between October 10, 2023, and February 17, 2024, the Russian Armed Forces lost 17,000 soldiers killed and 30,000 wounded in Avdiivka, said Dmytro Lykhovii, spokesperson for the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, which is responsible for the Avdiivka district.
The commander of the Tavtia OSGT, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, said that the Russians also lost 364 tanks, 248 artillery systems, 748 armoured combat vehicles and five aircraft.
There are no reports of Ukrainian casualties. On February 17, during the Munich Security Conference, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian losses in Avdiivka were seven times higher than Ukraine's.
