16-year-old Serhii, who цуwas illegally deported to Russia by Russians, was returned to Ukraine

Almost eight months ago, the boy was taken to Russia, where he was placed in a foster family. Serhii did not speak with his new "family".

Serhii lived near Mariupol. After the Russians captured his native village, Serhii and many other children were taken to the temporarily occupied Donetsk, and later to Russia.

The boy found a way to return to Ukraine via the Internet. He sent a message to one of the chatbots and received a reply that he would be helped to return home.

The Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights will provide Serhii with psychological assistance, medical care and resumption of studies.
