Russia suspended oil transit from Kazakhstan
During Rostransnadzor's inspection of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, "documentary violations in the Oil Spill Elimination Plan" were allegedly detected.
The consortium is forced to comply with the court's decision, but intends to appeal it.
Some 80 percent of Kazakhstan's oil exports flow through the CPC.
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, announced that he does not recognize the so-called LNR and DNR and called them quasi-republics.
On July 4, Kazakhstan announced its readiness to help stabilize prices on the European energy market.
