Russians use black Shahed models during drone attack on Kyiv
The Russian army used repainted black Shaheds during a night attack on November 25.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, during a teleconference.
Ihnat explained that the Russians had painted and slightly improved the Shahed-136.
"Now we can see that they have used carbon, a material that absorbs radar signals, and black colour. This will complicate the work of the Air Defence, in particular the visual targeting of mobile fire groups," the Air Force spokesman said.
Earlier, Iran presented a new model of the Shahed-238 drone. They are also black in colour. However, it is not yet known whether Russia will purchase this type of drone.
