FIFA allows Russian U-17 teams to participate in official international competitions
The International Association Football Federation has decided to allow the Russian U-17 teams to participate in official international competitions.
The FIFA press service reported this.
Russian teams will play under neutral status without a flag and anthem.
All other Russian national teams are suspended from participating in FIFA competitions until the end of the war against Ukraine.
It will be recalled that in September, UEFA allowed Russian youth teams to participate in official competitions under a neutral flag.
Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Romania condemned the decision of the European association and called for a boycott of Russian teams.
