The English Football Association opposes UEFA's decision to allow Russian Under-17 teams back into the competition
The English Football Association will refuse to play any Russian junior national teams, despite UEFA's decision to allow the country's Under-17 teams to compete in European competitions again this season.
The Times reported this.
They will adhere to the old rules and not play with Russians in any age category.
"We do not support the position of readmitting Russia to UEFA Age Grade Competitions, and our position remains that England teams won't play against Russia," the association said in a statement.
It will be recalled that the UEFA Executive Committee has allowed Russian Under-17 teams to participate in official international competitions this season. Russian teams will play without their flag and anthem.
