Robotyne, Ukraine (Svidomi) — President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, which was de-occupied in August 2023, the Office of the President of Ukraine reports

Zelenskyy talked to the defenders of Ukraine, awarded them the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and "For Courage", and handed over the Presidential Cross of Military Merit to the commander of a reconnaissance platoon, Senior Lieutenant Andrii Olshanskyi.

"It is a great honour for me to be here today. To support and award you. You have such a challenging and decisive mission on your shoulders — to repel the enemy and win this war," the President of Ukraine said.

It will be recalled that the Ukrainian Defence Forces liberated Robotyne in August 2023. Ukrainian soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade entered the village on August 23 and organised the evacuation of civilians.
