Zelenskyy met with Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and senators from the Republican and Democratic parties

The Head of State expressed hope for the continuation of solid bicameral and bipartisan support of Ukraine in Congress, thanks to which his country receives much-needed military, financial and humanitarian aid. The President brought to Congress the Ukrainian flag handed over by the military from Bakhmut.

Nancy Pelosi noted that Congress was preparing another "important round" of security, humanitarian and economic assistance. 

At the meeting senators from the Republican and Democratic parties discussed the recognition of PMC Wagner as a terrorist organisation.
