Zelenskyy insists on a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation due to its nuclear blackmail at the Zaporizhzhia NPP

The President of Ukraine also emphasized the need to completely block Russia's banking system, as Russian financial institutions still operate in the global banking system, and to introduce an embargo on Russian oil and gas.

Zelenskyy noted Ukraine’s joining  to the European power grids and the beginning of the sale of Ukrainian electricity to the EU, the cost of which is the lowest on the EU market.

This may limit the growth of electricity costs for consumers in EU countries.
