We understand that we will not join NATO while the war is ongoing. Even during the war, we want to hear a clear signal that we will join NATO after the war - Zelenskyy

During a press conference in the Netherlands, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that at the NATO Summit in Vilnius, Ukraine hoped to receive a clear signal from the allies about the prospect of joining the Alliance.

During NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's visit to Ukraine, Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine was not considering alternatives to full membership in NATO and that Ukraine needed security guarantees while still seeking membership.

In July, a NATO summit will be held in Vilnius, which Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been invited to attend.
