War in Ukraine will not last for years - Biden
The US President believes that the war in Ukraine cannot last for years.
Joe Biden said this during a press conference in Helsinki.
The president cited two reasons: Russia's lack of resources and capacity, and the circumstances under which Putin will "eventually realise" that the war is not in the country's political and economic interests.
"I think that there is going to be a circumstance where eventually President Putin is going to decide that it is not in the interest of Russia - economically, politically or otherwise - to continue this war. But I can't predict exactly how that happens," Biden said.
The US President also expressed his hope that Ukraine would make significant progress in the offensive and stressed that Putin had already lost the war.
"There is no way he can win the war in Ukraine. He has already lost this war," he said.
