Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially denies Ukraine's involvement in the Russian Kremlin's drone attack

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially denied Ukraine's involvement in the drone attack on the Russian Kremlin on the night of May 3.

He made the statement during a joint press conference with the leaders of the Nordic countries.

"We are not attacking Putin or Moscow. We are fighting on our own territory. We are defending our villages and cities. We lack weapons even for this, which is why we do not use them elsewhere. That is why we have a deficit. That is why we did not attack Putin. Let's leave it to the tribunal," Zelenskyy said, according to Finland's public broadcaster.

At the same time, Russian officials are calling on the Russian authorities to attack Ukraine. In particular, Russian parliament speaker Vyacheslav Volodin claims that Ukraine has allegedly committed a terrorist attack. He demanded that Ukraine's military and political leadership be killed.

A similar statement was made by the "deputy" of the Russian parliament from the temporarily occupied Crimea, Mikhail Sheremet. "It's time to launch a missile strike on Zelenskyy's residence in Kyiv," he said.
