Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivers a speech at the International Criminal Court in The Hague

During his speech, the President said that Russians had committed 6139 war crimes in Ukraine as of April 2023. Zelenskyy once again called for the establishment of an International Tribunal for Russia.

"We all want to see a different Vladimir here in The Hague, the one who deserves to be sanctioned for his criminal actions here, in the capital of international law. I'm sure we will see that happen when we win. And we will win," Zelenskyy said.

On May 4, the Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives in War, the President asked the Netherlands to remember the Ukrainians who died as a result of Russian aggression.

"Remember the Ukrainians who could be alive today if not for this aggression. If not for the war, which we did not want and which we want to make the last war in the world," the President added.

This is the first working visit of Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Netherlands during the full-scale war.

The President will meet with the Prime Ministers of the Netherlands and Belgium. He will also have an audience with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and visit an air force base.
