Vladimir Putin signs decree on spring conscription

Starting April 1 through 15, 147,000 people will be drafted into the Russian army.

Russian citizens between 18 and 27 who are not in reserve are subject to conscription.

In the autumn of 2022, 120,000 people were called up for military service in Russia. In the spring of 2022, 134,500 were called up.
