Verkhovna Rada expanded the rights of foreign volunteers in Ukraine — website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

These rights will apply not only to those foreigners who serve in the Armed Forces, but also to those who were in other armed formations, including the National Guard. 

The document simplifies the entry into service in Ukraine for foreigners, as well as equalizes the salaries of foreigners with Ukrainian servicemen. From now on, foreign volunteers can apply directly to military units. 

In addition, the law allows foreign volunteers to legally stay on the territory of Ukraine and be able to obtain Ukrainian citizenship under a simplified procedure.
