US sees no signs that Russia could blow up Zaporizhzhia NPP - NSC representative

"We have the ability near the plant to monitor radioactivity, and we just haven’t seen any indication that that threat is imminent, but we’re watching it very, very closely," said John Kirby, a Coordinator for the White House National Security Council.
The US also sees no signs that Russia will use nuclear weapons.
"And we’ve seen no indication — outside of the blustery rhetoric, we’ve seen no indication that there is any intent to use nuclear weapons inside Ukraine," Kirby added.
As a reminder, the head of Ukrainian intelligence said that Russian troops had deployed equipment with explosives near four of the six power units at Zaporizhzhia NPP.
"The plan for a terrorist attack on ZNPP is fully developed and approved. They can use technical means to accelerate the disaster," Kyrylo Budanov said.
